You can try to download Windows 7 device drivers/software and install using the Compatibility Mode for Windows 7 in Windows 8.
Research on the Wacom web pages (USA and Asia so far) - your device has been supported under Windows 7 modified. However, it is also their choice which operating systems they support - so if you choose to use an operating system, they do not support. The manufacturer of a product is responsible for all products in favor of said product any operating system, you choose to run.
